Program Components
1. Traditional Music & Dance
Students learn traditional instruments including drums, shakers, and indigenous string instruments, along with cultural dances and songs passed down through generations. This preserves cultural heritage while giving youth pride in their identity and artistic traditions.
2. Music Lessons & Ensembles
Weekly music classes teach fundamentals of rhythm, melody, and harmony through both individual and group instruction. Students join choirs and instrumental ensembles where they develop teamwork, discipline, and performance skills while creating beautiful music together.
3. Performance Opportunities
